EDS stands for Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder that that can be debilitating and disabling. I illustrated this woman as a mermaid because People who cannot use their legs as much as others often relate to to mermaids. This was also drawn for an event called Mer-May as well as EDS Awareness Month
