Cripple Punk Portrait Series
The beginning

June 5, 2017

When I first discovered the Cripple Punk Movement in 2016, I felt so motivated to create something that really got across the confidence and Disabled Pride I felt. That was when I began the series and the rest is history! My Cripple Punk Portrait Series later turned into my Disabled Beauty Series, which is still ongoing today and I feel so passionately about. But my roots will always firmly be in Cripple Punk.

[ID: a simple portrait featuring a black person with light skin and a pink prosthetic hook arm. They are facing away from us and looking back over their shoulder. They’re wearing a black tubetop and jeans and are plus size. Their curly dark hair is up in buns and they have a pink streak in it.There is a ring of pink cluster flowers behind them and the background is pink.]
